The Engineering Manager will work directly with the general manager in driving development and engineering activities for an entrepreneurial business undergoing rapid growth. We seek a candidate with a can do attitude, strong demonstrable background in power supply design and a desire to work in a high growth phase business environment offering unlimited career potential. The successful candidate will have a strong desire to work along side demanding customers ensuring project success for all parties involved.
- Responsible for the technical content and timely completion of custom engineering projects for customers
- Serves as direct customer interface for Engineering support needs.
- Provides pre-sales technical feasibility assessment and estimates project resource needs.
- Responsible for supporting Operations in the delivery of released products.
- Participates in the design and documentation of products consistent with ISO-compliant engineering processes.
- Contributes in establishing, documenting, implementing and maintenance of departmental operation and technical procedures and processes with the intent of standardizing designs and reducing product development time and costs.
- Assigns and oversees the definition and execution of project design objectives including cost and schedule targets.
- Coordinates and conducts design reviews, internally and with customers.
- Stays abreast of industry technology and leads the management decision as to when to start using new approaches.

- Ability to work under stringent time lines, approaching each project with a sense of urgency
- Excellent analytical and circuit design skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Experience in a variety of manufacturing environments and ability to work closely with
other operational disciplines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, OrCAD and Windows.
- Customer service, metric driven and team focused mentality.
- Project Management experience a plus
- Must be a U.S. citizen

Education:
|
|
BSEE or other Bachelors degree in other engineering discipline. |
|
|
|
|
Experience:
|
|
Minimum of 8 - 10 years of engineering/engineering management experience.
