Electronics hardware design and support of digital and analog circuitry.
Analyze product requirements and support functional design and hardware
design specifications. Support agency certification of new and existing
products interfacing with internal engineers and external certifying
bodies including submittals to agencies. Analyze and test new circuit
designs, develop and implement design verification and validation test
plans, and conduct peer reviews of new and revised hardware designs.
- Work with product development teams, ASIC supplier, and customers
to define, develop, and launch Automotive sensor products.
- Support multiple new applications, defining use of existing
ASICs and new ASIC needs.
- Build and test prototype samples.
- Work in teams to solve complex technical problems.
- Create engineering prints and specifications.
- Use computers to model device performance and visualize complex
designs.
- Apply statistical methods to data analysis.
- Interface with customers on key design issues.
- Work in teams to identify and implement the best possible
solutions and support high volume production lines.
- Design, develop, modify and evaluate electronic parts, components
or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware
systems.
- Determine design approaches and parameters.
